Join us for the 4th Annual Membership Weekend as we celebrate all things Brice’s Crossroads. The weekend will feature a donor dinner, a guided battlefield tour, an engaging Civil War program, and updates on the Foundation’s accomplishments over the past year.
We are extremely pleased to have widely-acclaimed Civil War historian Timothy B. Smith as our keynote speaker for our annual BCF Membership Weekend.
Saturday’s Schedule:
8:00-8:45am: Registration and Check-In (Main Street)
8:45am: Carpool to the Battlefield
9:00am: Brice’s Crossroads Battlefield Program
10:00-10:30am: Membership Welcome and late Check-in
10:30am: Tim Smith Keynote Speaker
11:30am: State of the Foundation
12:15pm: Conclude

James Wallis
Besides his time spent in the Marine Corps James is a lifelong resident of the Baldwyn area. He has always loved history and reading with a special focus on the evolution of battlefield weapons. He runs a historic weapons Instagram page, Arsenal Obscura, and focuses his talks and programs on the different types of small arms used in North Mississippi during the Civil War. His ancestor fought at the Battle of Brice’s Crossroads with the 4th Alabama Cavalry.
