The Schedule and some details are below. Free and open to everyone. Attend one program, some programs or all of the programs if you can! Whatever your schedule allows:

Morning Session

-9:00am: “Civil War Cavalry Carbines at Brice’s Crossroads: Technology, Tactics and Impact” by BCF Battlefield Programs Guide Dwight Hardison

-10:00am: “The Artillery of Brice’s Crossroads” by BCF President Graham Osborne

-11:00am: “The Crossing at Tishomingo Creek: Terrain, Timing and Decentralized Command” by BCF Battlefield Programs Guide Christian Schuetz

11:45am to 1:30pm – Lunch Break (we highly recommend some of the local Baldwyn, MS businesses that will be open that day!)

Afternoon Session

-1:30pm: “Hands on History: See, Touch and Feel the Weapons of War” by BCF Battlefield Programs Guide James Wallis

-2:30pm: “Alabama’s Fallen at Brice’s Crossroads” by BCF Vice President Michael Dempsey

-3:30pm: “The Battle Within The Battle: The Fight at White House Ridge” by BCF Battlefield Programs Director Colonel (Retired) James Garrett

The day will conclude around 4:30pm. Some programs will be in a single spot so bring a chair to sit in, some will require light walking, and some will be a hybrid driving, walking, standing tour!

We will have rented bathrooms on-site and water to hand out.

Join us for the Brice’s Crossroads Expedition Driving Tour, a special extended tour exploring key sites connected to the battle that are not part of the regular route. Ride along in a van as we visit locations in Booneville, Rienzi, Ripley, and the former site of Stubbs Plantation. This four-hour experience includes a mid-tour lunch (self pay) and offers a deeper look into the broader campaign landscape.
